The TRAIL Research Camp (TReC) 2026
will take place at the University of Lausanne from 24 August to 4 September 2026. TReC is a hands-on research programme where PhD students and postdoctoral researchers work in international and multi-institutional teams on concrete AI projects, with the ambition to produce reusable research outputs, prototypes, benchmarks and potential co-publications.
The University of Lausanne can cover the accommodation costs for the two weeks of 8 CIVIS PhD candidates. Interested applicants must send a CV and cover letter (mentioning the interests for one specific TReC project) to UNIL International Office (summerschools@unil.ch ) by July 10th.

DPG’s fall-meeting 2025 on Quantum Physics
Göttingen, 8-12 September 2025.
30 fellowships for participation in this conference are available.
The fellowships cover the conference fee, up to 520 € for travel and accommodation and a per diem of 30 €. Candidates for the fellowship must be about to complete their doctorate or have completed it no more than 6 years ago. See details.
They must work in certain Middle- or Eastern European countries, be members in a Physical Society, and be willing to present their work at the conference (typically with a poster).
The deadline for applications for a fellowship is 4 May 2025.
Congress of the Balkan Physics Union
Bucharest, 8-12 July, 2025

Participants from Romania are exempt from participation fee. Chose "None" on the registration form.
The works of the congress will be published in an indexed Proceedings and in two special issues of EPJP (IF 2.8) and Symmetry (IF 2.4) journals.

Will be held at the FISA-EURADWASTE conference 2025, which will take place between May 12-16 in Warsaw, Poland. More details can be found here.
